Lohbut Yarlingturfa Rimdap (L Y Rimdap ) 

Mr. Rimdap comes from Pil - Gani Langtang North Local Government Council of Plateau State. He first arrived the UK on the 7th March 1982 as a student on scholarship sponsored by the Plateau State government, just like most of his co-founders of the Plateau State Association- UK. Mr. Rimdap studied at different colleges in London including the Polytechnic of East London- now East London university where he obtained a DMS- postgraduate diploma in Business management. He then went on to study at Greenwich College for his MBA in Business Administration. 

During his long vacation holidays in his years as a student, Mr Rimdap worked for the Nigerian Airways in London. He also worked for the NHS and has since retired. 

Mr. Rimdap is a bonafide of the Plateau State Association- UK who in his wisdom saw a need for his colleagues from Plateau State to come together and form an Association that can help one another in time of need. He worked on his thought and invited eight of his colleagues to a meeting. The outcome of this meeting was the successful inauguration of the Plateau State Association in summer of 1987. He became the first vice president of the Plateau State Association- UK. Later on, he once more held the position of vice president before going to the back bench. Mr. Rimdap worked tremendously in helping to produce the first constitution for Plateau State Association- UK and was actively involved in the constitution reviews. When the Plateau State Association- UK created the Plateau State Association- Charity UK Mr. Rimdap became its first Chairman, a position he still holds to date.

Mr T. A. Yiggon 

As a pioneer and founding member of the Plateau State Association (PSA) UK, Mr. Yiggon served in the Executive Committee of PSA at various times in several capacities including Chairman, Think Tank Committee. In the early part of 1997, he served as a member of the Asset Sharing Committee following the creation of Nasarawa State on October 1st, 1996. On the formation of Nasarawa State Association (NSA) UK in 1997, he was appointed the Chairman of the Executive Committee. He served for two 2-yearterms as elected Executive President of the Association. During his tenure, the Association hosted the first elected Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Senator Abdullahi Adamu on two separate occasions. During his presidency, NSA UK had a noticeable presence both in the UK and at home, Nasarawa State. Mr. Yiggon is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc CIPD). He is married to Patricia and blessed with four offsprings: Asaba, Embigu, Yiggon and Ashezi. Currently, he is self-employed and engaged with the provision transport services

Solomon D.D.G. Fom 64yrs. (10/02/1955) 

From Dahwak Kuru, Jos South Local Government. MrFom is married to Rita Fom with 4 Children and 9 grandchildren. 

Schools attended: Gyel Commercial College (Zang Secondary School) 1973. Kaduna Polytechnic (CABS) Certificate in Supervisory Studies 1975. Diploma in Management Studies 1978. South West London College, Garratt Lane: Certificate in Accountancy Studies. 1982. London School of Accountancy: Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (Stage1,2,3) 1986. Advance Diploma Association of Business Executives. 

1989. Thames Valley University. Post graduate Diploma Accounting and Finance. 1990. Member Institute of Financial Accountants. 1992. Working Experience: Worked with various employers’ different capacities in Sales, Marketing, Insurance and Investments, Finance and Accounting. Resigned as a Director of Finance to start a personal business in 1998 in area of Telecommunications Sales, Engineering and maintenance Services till date. He has held various positions during the life of the association including Vice president and President.

Ericson Edward Fom (Eric Fom) 

A proud Founding Father of PSA (amongst a few others), 

Ericson Fomwas also a onetime president of the association. He served th association with pride and contributed immensely to the development and success of the association; his tenure culminated with the acquisition of medical equipment, medicines and a few computers delivered to Plateau State in a 40-foot container for Plateau Specialist hospital Jos. This was received by Governor Joshua Dariye in a hand over ceremony attended b members of the public and the cream of his administration. 

Ericson Fom came to the UK in the early 1980s to study and now holds several academic qualifications in the fields of Marketing and Managemen from some prestigious institutions in the UK; one of which is an MBA from the University of Liverpool, UK. 

This “young gentleman” is a Corporate Strategist by profession, a Teache and Business man, he presently runs his own businesses; project manager/consult for a Japanese pharmaceutical company and a Dutch company with extensive commercial interest in some Federal Governmen research institutions in Nigeria through one of his companies, Fixcon Netw Ltd. One of his companies also made significant contribution to the agricultural sector in Nigeria, being the sole importer and distributor of Hybrid seeds from Royal Sluis of Holland and Peto Seeds of America (now part of Monsanto group). Plateau and Bauchi State Governments were am his big customers. 

Eric’s greatest interest and joy has been that of community service; he is immediate past National President of the Berom Educational and Cultural Education (BECO); which is the Berom socio-cultural organization. And th outgoing President of Conference of autochthonous Ethnic Nationalities Community 

Development Associations (CONAECDA); an umbrella group o the ethnic cultural organizations in Northern Nigeria and the Middlebelt, made up of about 350 minority ethnic nationalities, of which all the ethnic nationalities of Plateau State are members. 

As usual, Eric leaves best for last. He has a beautiful wife called Mrs. Vict Fom (nee Toma Kpam Dusu) and The Almighty blessed them with four beautiful children who are now adults. He is a member of the Fom family from Kuru District of Jos South Local Government, Nigeria. 

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Y.F. Bala

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Y.F. Bala Tonglele PhD 

A humanist, philanthropist and industrialist born in 1959 into the Tonglele family of the Kojana clan of Bwonpe in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. He was awarded a Plateau State Government Overseas scholarship in 1982 to study Management Planning and Development in England in the United Kingdom and has achieved several other qualifications since then. His company ARMOUR7 Group of Companies including Golden Shield Security based in London, employed and empowered many African communities and members of PSA UK. He has also developed several unique business and security programs in Europe and the Middle East. He was the first African to be granted leave to remain in the UK under the INVESTORS category. He is member of Board of Governors of the Greenwich School of Management, Council of the International Professional Security Association and the Active Committee of the Small Business Network in UK. 

He spearheaded the Peace and Reconstruction Programme after the Jos crisis of 2001. In 2005, he was conferred with the prestigious title of the State Crown Prince of Plateau State. In 2009, he was listed in the prestigious ‘Who is who’ of the British Business Elites and awarded the 2009 Commonwealth Youth Award of Excellence. He is happily married with responsible children.

Panchen Gowal Large 

Born on 17 February 1941 in Pankshin Native Authority, Mr Large was posted to the United Kingdom as the Overseas Representative of the Nigerian Railway Corporation in 1982. He also served as the first London Representative of the National Maritime Authority (NIMASA). He was honoured to be elected the first president of the PSA and is now a retired Civil Servant.
